Advantage #4 Climate control units: A great solution

These buildings are accessible through a fully enclosed hallway. You can access your unit without concerns about the weather. Each climate control building has a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC). The temperature is regulated by A/C and heater units and monitored by a thermostat – just like your home. It reduces the chance of mold, mildew and humidity damage. It protects against the extreme heat and cold temperatures. (It is recommended for furniture, photographs, artwork and other valuables.)

How is the unit locked? Who has a key?

You can purchase a new, packaged lock from us when you rent your unit. No one else has a key to that lock. You lock it and you keep the key.

How long is my lease?

Everyone’s lease is month-to-month.

Do I get a discount if I commit to a longer stay?

Yes. Ask for details when you call.

How do I pay my monthly bill?

We do not mail out monthly statements. Rent is due the first day of the month and late after the fifth. Mail to P. O. Box 3448 Oxford, Alabama 36203.

Can I insure my belongings in storage?

Advantage Self Storage does not insure personal belongings. Contact your home owner ’s insurance for coverage. Another option is to contact an insurer that deals with stored belongings.

What can I not store?

Do not store food. Do not store firearms. Do not leave paint, oil, or gasoline in your storage unit. Drain all gas and oil from lawnmowers, etc. It is against the law to store hazardous or combustible materials such as these. A full listing is on the contract.
